Dr. Lauren Ostling!

Dr. Ostling is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery at UCSF, specializing in pediatric neurosurgery.  She is based at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland (BCHO), but treats children at both east and west bay locations.  She completed her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University where she received a B.A. in Mathematics.  She attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine.  Dr. Ostling completed her neurosurgical residency at the University of Cincinnati and a Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowship at UCSF.  She is board certified by the ABNS. She is Co-Director of the Neuroscience Center at BCHO and treats a variety of pediatric neurosurgical conditions, including a significant number of patients with hydrocephalus from multiple different etiologies. She is passionate about providing the highest level of care for patients and their families as her own family has been affected by hydrocephalus.

Parking Instructions: There is all day parking underground but for $ 6 per hour or $33 all day. There is also street parking available with the exception of JFK Drive from 8th Ave to Transverse Drive on event day. We will walk on JFK drive!
